LG announced its affordable mid-range Android smartphone, the Optimus F6, back in August and now we have confirmation that it’s available to purchase on MetroPCS, for $199 off-contract.

The F6 is a budget-friendly device, which packs a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2,460 mAh battery.

In addition, the Optimus F6 also sports some of the same exclusive features that LG’s high-end handsets incorporate, including; QuickTranslator, QuickMemo and QuickRemote.

The handset is available to purchase today both in-store and online for $199 without a contract, or on any of the U.S. carrier’s plans, starting at $40 per month.
