Pandora Update Brings Nissan Integration & Sleep Timer

Pandora

Pandora, the popular radio app on Google Play has received a rather nifty update this week, introducing a new sleep timer as well as support for NissanConnect.

The seemingly much-requested timer can be unlocked on your device using the Hamburger menu on the right-hand side of your screen, once opened you will be presented with the settings panel where you will find the option to set the sleep time for 15, 30 or 60 minutes; before your chosen music stops playing. Sadly, there’s no way of setting your own duration at present, but hopefully that functionality will be added in the next update.

In addition to the sleep timer, this update also integrates Pandora’s music controls into any Nissan vehicle’s steering wheel via NissanConnect. So, if you drive a Nissan you will be able to play/pause/stop/fast forward right from your steering wheel without having to touch your phone.

Pandora also announced that starting September 1, it will lift the 40 hours of streaming per month restriction that limited mobile users.
