British Retailer Already Selling New 4G Nexus 7 For £299 With 3-Day Delivery

The new Nexus 7 hasn’t even starting selling in the U.K. yet — though you can pre-order it from a number of retailers — but Very.co.uk is now offering the 32GB 4G model for £299 ($460). What’s more, it promises that you’ll receive your order “within three working days.”

Google isn’t even offering the 4G Nexus 7 in the U.S. yet — it simply says the device is “coming soon” to Google Play, so it seems odd that Very.co.uk is already selling it to Brits. I’m assuming, then, that the listing — or at least the shipping date next to it — is incorrect, but if you’d like to try your luck, you can do so right now.

We’ve placed an order to see if it turns up on time, and we’ll be sure to let you know. It should be here by the end of the week.

Even if Very’s release date is wrong, its pricing is at least correct. Google confirmed shortly after the Nexus 7’s official unveiling last month that the 32GB 4G model would cost £299 in the U.K.
