Samsung Trademarks S MUSICIAN, Fit, Pro & 4 Other Names, But What Do They Mean?

Samsung is the latest company to bombard the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) with some new trademarks, but we have little information indicating what they actually mean. These character marks include; Mobile Samsung 5G, Samsung Fit, Samsung Micro, Samsung Expo, Samsung Go, Samsung Pro and S MUSICIAN.

S MUSICIAN is fairly self-explanatory. It’s a piece of software which will come pre-loaded on any Samsung handset that features S Suite, and will enable the user to create mediocre music directly from their smartphone or tablet.

Samsung Mobile is working hard to develop a 5G connection, and although the company doesn’t expect the revolutionary technology to be ready for the public any time soon, it’s certainly preparing for an official announcement with the trademarking of “Samsung Mobile 5G.”

Samsung Expo could be the title of the developers’ next conference it is hosting in October this year, in an effort to encourage more people to develop for both Samsung and Android.

Fit and Go sound a lot like fitness related apps. We’ve already seen the implementation of S Health on the Galaxy S4, and it wouldn’t hurt to see Samsung unveil some fitness-related accessories for its future Galaxy devices.

We’re stumped over Micro, but it could mean another small device is on the horizon, and Pro could be some upcoming product or codename for a piece of software that’s presently in development. Who knows? But for now we’re in the dark, and there’s no light switch nearby.

It’s possible that some of these names will never see the light, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep our eyes peeled.
