EE, the U.K.’s first and only 4G carrier, has confirmed to Cult of Android that it will carry the Galaxy S4 Mini from launch. The device will be available on EE’s super speedy 4G LTE network, as well as its 3G networks under the Orange and T-Mobile UK brands.

Unfortunately, EE did not confirm when the device will actually be available, or how much it will cost.

“We can confirm we plan to stock the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini from launch. It will be available on our superfast 4GEE service as well as on our Orange and T-Mobile UK brands. Further details on pricing and availability will be announced in due course,” the company said.

Announced this morning, the Galaxy S4 Mini is a cheaper alternative to the flagship Galaxy S4. It looks very similar, but it’s significantly smaller, with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display in place of the 5-inch 1080p panel.

It also offers a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. The device runs the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with the TouchWiz user interface.

Samsung has said that it will be showing off the Galaxy S4 Mini at its June 20 event in London’s Earls Court Exhibition Center. Hopefully, the company will provide more information on its release then.
