Verizon’s Galaxy S3 Set To Receive Major Update To Build VRBMD3

The Galaxy S3 is the most recent in a long list of devices to receive the seal of approval from Verizon to get a software upgrade. Verizon’s latest update brings build VRBMD3 to the Galaxy S3, this brings a truck load of new features, such as multi-window, multi-screen and much more!

Verizon approved its new Galaxy S3 update yesterday afternoon, and didn’t waste any time before rolling it out – within minutes of the announcement, the update was ready to download on many Galaxy S3’s on Verizon’s network.

The update brings a swarm of new features and enhancements to the Galaxy S3, the main ones are; Best Shot (camera mode), S Beam, multi-window, multi-screen, improved lock screen functionality and a more stable Mobile Hotspot experience.

Build VRBMD3 also brings Page Buddy to the Galaxy S3 – Page Buddy gives you, the user, automatic application suggestions on a dedicated page whenever you plug in headphones or connect a bluetooth device. Page Buddy is a very useful feature to have on your phone, as it recognises the applications you use most when you have an accessory attached to your device, it then provides you with easy access to these applications whenever you connect the same accessory.

The Galaxy S3 was Samsung’s flagship device of 2012, featuring a Exynos 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera and running Android’s 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. All of these specifications contributed to a remarkable device, topping the charts in terms of performance.

It’s nice to see Verizon working with Samsung to keep its devices up-to-date, bringing the latest features and bug fixes to keep their customers happy.
