Google Earth for Android today received a new update that adds a number of new features, including Street View, improved search and directions, and an improved interface.

Google Maps users will already be familiar with Street View, which allows you to virtually walk down almost any street in the world. Now you can access the feature in Google Earth for Android, thanks to today’s new version 7.1.1 update.

In addition to Street View, users can take advantage of improved directions, with the ability to “visualize transit, walk, bike and drive directions in 3D,” and improved search which will enable you to browse search results easier and faster than ever before.

Finally, this update delivers an improved interface, which makes it easier to browse and enable different layers through the use of a new navigation panel on the left-side of the app.

You can download Google Earth version 7.1.1 from Google Play now.
