Madfinger Games announced a massive update to its flagship First Person Shooter (FPS) game on iOS and Android today. There are new maps, weapons, and game content, each of which was created directly from player feedback, including the new “friends” feature.

Rookie players now have a new Special Tutorial mode, while veterans will be glad to see new booster packs for speed, armor, damage, accuracy, and invisibility, along with several game optimizations, bug fixes, and new gamepad support.

“Now players can invite their friends to Zone Control mode or monitor their game stats, “said Marek Rabas, CEO at MADFINGER Games of the new “friends” feature.

In addition, this new update brings eight new localized languages for in-game support, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.

“We worked hard and strived to improve the game across the board. We have always adhered to the principle that our games must first and foremost, entertain us as players. We also pay honest attention to the feedback we receive from our players. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to pack it all into the game,“ said Marek Rabas in a statement.

Finally, a new website will launch this Friday in support of the game and the new update, at www.shadowgun-deadzone.com.

The game is available now on Google Play and the iTunes App Store, where iOS players can pick the game up for free today as part of the Free App A Day promotion.
