Samsung Actually Made A Good Galaxy Ad Thanks To Seth Rogen & Paul Rudd [Video]

Samsung-Galaxy-ad

No, that headline isn’t wrong — Samsung has actually made a Galaxy commercial for the Super Bowl that doesn’t such. It features Knocked Up stars Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd, who play two writers pitching ideas for Samsung’s next commercial to Breaking Bad’s Bob Odenkirk.

It doesn’t mock other companies or rival devices, and it’s actually pretty hilarious. Check it out below.

The ad plays on the fact that Rogen and Rudd cannot mention trademarked names, and so Odenkirk keeps jumping in and cutting them off when they attempt to say “Super Bowl,” “Baltimore Ravens,” or “San Francisco 49ers.” Of course, if they did mention any of those things, Samsung would have to pay a fee to the NFL.

The clip could be seen as a dig at the NFL, but it certainly makes a nice change from taking swipes at Apple — which Samsung did during the last Super Bowl — or most recently BlackBerry devices.

Apart from liking Seth Rogen/Paul Rudd/’SaulGoodman’ …. little about this ad is that great. Then again, good is a relative word.

Yeah an as that never mentions the product or even show it and makes fun of IP via mocking the licensing of trademarks is a great ad

On the bright side they weren’t calling or implying that Apple users are morons
