Want A Cheap Dual-SIM Smartphone? Get The Kogan Agora For Just $149

Kogan-AgoraWhile most consumers won’t have a need for dual-SIM smartphones, they are a terrific way for professionals to manage both personal and business numbers using only one device. And what’s more, they don’t have to cost a lot, thanks to the new $149 Agora smartphone from Australian company Kogan.

As you might expect with that price tag, the Agora isn’t a high-end smartphone. It offers a large 5-inch display with a mediocre 480×800-pixel resolution, and a 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor. It has just 4GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It does have an integrated FM radio, however, and it’s clearly designed to look like the original Samsung Galaxy Note.

While you won’t be playing the latest Android games or taking super high-resolution photos with the Agora, then, it could be a fantastic buy if you’re looking for a cheap business smartphone that can handle two SIM cards.

The Agora is priced at $149 for those in the United States, AUD$149 for those in Australia, and £199 for those in the United Kingdom — plus shipping. It’s available exclusively through Kogan’s website, and shipping will begin from mid-February to 11 countries, including the three previously mentioned.
