At CES 2013 this week, Bracketron has unveiled a new line of in-vehicle mounts designed to stick your smartphone or tablet to your windshield or dashboard for use on the road. Both feature suction cups that’ll provide you with a safe and secure way to use hands-free apps without taking your hands off the wheel.

The Mi-T Grip Mount is designed for smartphones, and is “one of the most innovative mounting solutions for portable devices on the market today,” according to Bracketron. Its patented Temporbond technology allows it to be mounted to almost any hard surface in your car, including its dashboard.

Its unique grip will hold onto smartphones with or without a case, while its rotating head will allow you to adjust viewing angles and quickly switch between landscape and portrait views. It also provides access to all device controls, including mute switches, volume rockers, and sleep/wake buttons.

Bracketron’s Universal Tablet Window Mount, as its name suggests, is designed for tablets, if you’re one of those people who prefers a larger display for navigation. It features a reinforced arm for heavier devices, plus a 360° rotating head. It’s ideal for passengers who want a little in-car entertainment.

“Our latest line of accessories provides an ideal alternative for consumers who rely on their mobile devices for GPS and navigation,” said Christian Johnson, Vice President of Marketing at Bracketron. “Their non-intrusive designs deliver the security consumers have come to expect from Bracketron, while allowing safe and convenient access to people on the move.”

Both the Mi-T Mount and the Universal Tablet Mount will be available to order at the end of this month. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
