Samsung Planning To Launch New Garnet Red Galaxy Tabs For Valentine’s Day [Rumor]

Samsung doesn’t just offer a large range of Android-powered smartphones and tablets, but it also offers them in all kinds of fancy colors. Rumor has it the Korean electronics giant is looking to give its Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 a lick of red paint just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Samsung already offers devices in Garnet Red, including the hugely popular Galaxy S III, and the Galaxy Note II. Now it’s looking to take the same shade to its tablets. SamMobile reports that both the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available in Garnet Red before Valentine’s Day on February 14.

The new color is expected to be available only with the 3G + Wi-Fi tablets, with the P3100, GT-P5100, and GT-N8000 model numbers.

It’s unclear where these devices will be available exactly — they could pop up in just a small selection of markets. We’ll keep an eye out for updates in the new year.
