Jelly Bean Begins Rolling Out To HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus Owners

Google recently dropped quite the candy bomb on HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus owners. It appears that Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) has already begun rolling out and will continue to hit HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus devices over the next week. Great news for everyone, better news for HSPA+ GNEX owners.

Why is this good news for everyone? Because if Jelly Bean is already officially being pushed out to HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus devices, it means other devices are to follow. Next on the list are all Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola XOOM devices — not to mention the multitude of custom ROMs you can expect to hit shortly (which mean JB for loads of non-Nexus devices).

This unexpected official rollout should be viewed as a nice treat, so let’s try not to spoil it by being too bratty and screaming out “ME, ME, WHEN DO I GET SOME!” Just sit back, relax, and you’ll be rocking the buttery smooth Jelly Bean in no time.

Let us know if or when the OTA hits your Nexus.
